Assignment 1

Two articles didn't seem to be very excited about book trailers, neither did the authors involved.

Assignment 2

Not much difference that I can tell between a written summary and the book trailer, of course, the video.  As a reader, I would much prefer to read about the book and not necessarily see the author or even less appealing, an actor, trying to promote the book.  Perhaps this will be more important as the generation who are now definitely on You Tube become more interested in the book trailers.


In Summary,

I found parts of these assignments to be new and enlightening to me.  However, there were parts that were very well-known to me and most likely most people in this field that I found a bit repetitous.  For the most part, it was a worthwhile experience being exposed to different ways to advise our readers.
